SOLUTIONS TEAM ASSISTANTNon-ExemptReports to: Solutions Manager
Position OverviewThe primary purpose of this position is to assist

ways to help.Essential DutiesAssist in appropriate Solution efforts
for accounts with past due loans and or negative shares, while
adhering to provisions as set forth in the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act (FDCPA), and that collection activity is always
within credit union policy and all relevant regulations.Deliver on
the Credit Union' Service Promises in every service situationDuties
and ResponsibilitiesThe following statements are intended to
describe the general nature and level of work being performed by
this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all
duties, responsibilities and skills required of this position.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Monitor and
respond to messages in the Solutions Team Email inbox.Field phone
calls routed to the Solutions Team x1550.Ability to discuss account
specifics clearly with members.Process incoming Garnishments and
Levies daily.Process CUNA insurance claims for Life and Disability
claims.Work with insurance company and member on insurance claims
for damaged and totaled vehicles.Post relevant information clearly
to collection notes in Symitar.Monitor and respond to messages in
Solutions Team voicemail inbox.Post SWBC phone payments to loans,
and transfer payments within accounts, as directed.Pick up, sort
and distribute Solutions incoming mail to proper individual(s) and
prepare outgoing mail daily.Print and prepare Mortgage Delinquency
notices for mail.Assist/backup other Solutions Team members with
their work as needed.Image necessary documentation to
accounts.Prepare and send requests for member verification of
employment via fax, email or mail, as directed.Field and respond to
Solutions Team Synapsys events, as needed.Perform any necessary
clerical tasks for the Solutions Team, including but not limited to
making copies, scanning and emailing information, pulling paper
account files, etc., as needed.Maintain a dependable record of
attendance and timeliness.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
and ExpectationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the expectations of
the person performing this job.Strive to exceed credit union,
department, and personal goals.Good organizational skills,
attention to details with solid time management skills and
well-developed abilities to multi-task.Ability to work overtime,
some Saturdays, attend education and training functions as
required.Must have flexibility to deal with changing work hours and
locations as needed. This position will likely have work hours 9 AM
- 6 PM daily, plus some Saturdays 9AM - 1 PMCourtesy, tact, and
diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal
contact with others inside and /or outside the organization
generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or
obtaining information, which may require some discussion.Physical
RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative
of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform
the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may

essential functions.Ability to lift up to 25 poundsAble to set or
stand for 2-4 hours at a timeWork EnvironmentThis position is an
In-Office only position, no ability to work remotely.Must maintain
a neat and orderly work area.Routinely clean and disinfect work
areas (i.e. teller stations, desk surfaces, phones, electronic
equipment).Wipe down teller windows and desk surfaces after every
Member and Team Member interaction. If limited or no Member
interactions, this practice is to be completed a minimum of twice a
day.Wipe down door handles, drive thru canisters, desks,
telephones, areas that are often touched by members or team members
coming in frequently.Sanitize shared spaces such as break rooms,
whiteboards, and meeting tables after every use.Protect the
confidentiality of credit union staff and members by locking door
or removing items from desk/workstation when away.Education and
ExperienceMinimum high school graduate or equivalent.One-year prior
credit union collection experience requested.Experience with
Symitar requested.Must possess excellent oral and written
communication skills.Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and
Outlook.
