Emergency Response, Security & Reporting (ERSR) Specialist to join

a bonus plan.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe primary purpose of the
ERSR Specialist role is to provide technical competency oversight
while implementing and maintaining emergency response, security and
regulatory reporting work processes, practices and systems to
maintain regulatory compliance and minimize the impact of threats
on the facility and the companys assets - including its people,
facilities, businesses, relationships, shareholders, communities
and/or reputation. The ERSR Specialist will work to ensure full
compliance with regulatory and local requirements.Key
Responsibilities
- Focal Point for all responsibilities related to Emergency
Response & Security, including maintaining compliance
documentation, serving as the DuPont representative for other
companies/community organizations, and leading DuPont teams to
effectively maintain Industrial Park and company expectations.
- Serve as Fire Safety Resource to establish and maintain site
fire safety policies and ensure compliance with fire related
requirements, such as but not limited to, impairments, inspections,
testing, etc.
- Focal Point for regulatory and compliance reporting, including
preparing regulatory documents/reports and managing programs for
compliance with Federal, State of Michigan, and other regulatory
agencies.
- Serve as Distribution Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance
with national and international regulations/requirements, along
with corporate policies and standards.
- Maintain internal and external tracking of injuries, illnesses,
and incidents metrics, along with management and submittal of the
OSHA 300 Log.Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in an EHS, Emergency Response, or
Security related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant EHS, Reporting,
Emergency Response and/or Security experience.
- EHS regulatory reporting experience and/or knowledge of
Environmental regulations.
- Certified Fire Inspector, Hazmat Operations, Fire Fighter I &
II, and/or Hazmat Technician level certifications.Basic
Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate degree in an EHS, Emergency Response,
or Security related discipline or 4+ years of relevant Military
Experience;
- AND a minimum of five (5) years of relevant EHS, Reporting,
Emergency Response and/or Security experience.Key Attributes
- Working knowledge of emergency response, security, and fire
safety work processes, systems and tools.
- Ability to create and maintain collaborative
relationships.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong technical ability to collect, review, and interpret
plant data for use in regulatory submittals.
- Self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish
multiple tasks.
- Critical thinker responsive to client's needs through proper
planning and prioritization.
- Ability to work independently and overcome obstacles to achieve
results with limited supervision.
- Challenge/question work practices in an effort to continuously
improve them.
- Excellent interpersonal skills who can effectively collaborate
with a variety of individuals to achieve site goals.
- Ability to lead others by influence and example.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply evolving Emergency Response
and Security requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (including Outlook,
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the
ability to work legally in the United States. No visa
