Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Two
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for a full-semester
contract position in a K-12 school located in Sterling Heights, MI.
This opportunity involves working with diverse student populations,
including elementary students in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
classrooms and high school students. Key Responsibilities: Provide
speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring
to students in elementary ASD classrooms and high school settings
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support
student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation in
compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in team
meetings and professional development opportunities Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical
Competence (SLP - CCC) Experience working within school settings
(SLP - School) Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and
effective therapy techniques, particularly with ASD populations
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with school
teams Appropriate licensure or certification required by the state
Location:Sterling Heights, Michigan Contract Details: Full semester
duration Two positions available: one serving elementary ASD
classrooms and one high school position This role offers the chance
