Job Description:
Project Procurement Advisor Serve as project procurement
portfolio focal point for sourcing and execution of equipment &
materials and services procurement, commercial valuation, award,
expediting, logistics planning and execution and coordinate with
field materials management Ensure that proper oversight is carried
out including subcontracting activities, bid list development,
bidder qualification & selection and contract award through
closeout Support update of Project Procurement Plan/Status Reports
to incorporate project developments, engagement with supplier,
contractor, and additional detail around project logistics and
materials management strategies Extensive interaction with internal
business clients to clarify requirements, agree on procurement
strategy and commercial strategy implementation Regular Interaction
with external suppliers to negotiate and award contracts and
address queries and issues Preparing and reviewing procurement
plans and subcontracting plans Ensure proper execution of RFQ's,
sealed bids and related duties (includes analysis/evaluations)
Drives implementation of global and regional strategies/best
practices at the business unit level Other duties as required and
determined by Department in accordance with applicable rules and
