The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking CNC Machinists. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs. Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Monitor machine performance, adjust offsets, and troubleshoot minor issues to maintain part quality. Select, install, and replace tooling according to job specifications. Load raw materials and unload finished parts from machines. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. Solid understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and machine control. Experience with tooling selection, offsets, and basic machine troubleshooting. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with advanced CAD/CAM software for complex part programming. Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or other advanced metrology equipment. Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
