Applications Engineer on our Technical Marketing team youll advance
our Ethernet solutions from concept to customer success, all the
while buiding long lasting partnerships that thrive on success. Are
you in? Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role • Provide
in-depth technical support to internal application engineers and
customers in the field of Ethernet. • Conduct remote and on-site
troubleshooting, hands-on bring-up, and debugging of boards. •
Prepare and deliver technical training sessions. • Develop
technical presentations, application notes, and demo examples. •
Contribute to product definition and roadmaps, including capturing
customer requirements. • Review customer schematics and layouts. •
Support proof-of-concept projects and engineering studies. Your
Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • A Bachelors
or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,
or Computer Science, and at least 5 years of relevant work
experience. • Strong knowledge of Ethernet transceivers, Ethernet
switching, and networking architectures. • Basic knowledge of
microcontrollers and proficiency in a programming language, such as
C or Python. • Experience in applications engineering, board
development, or system-level design and architecture. • Familiarity
with schematic capture and layout tools, as well as lab debug
equipment, including oscilloscopes and network analyzers. • Good
interpersonal skills and a problem-solving attitude, with the
ability to propose solutions and debug issues.
