this?Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager on the
Diamond Systems Analytics Business Intelligence team. This is a
Hybrid position within our Diamond Systems Analytics Organization.
The role will align to Dow's Design Your Day approach and allows
employees to work remotely but will also require onsite work based
on project work and role needs. The selected candidate will be
expected to live a commutable distance from one of our IT Hubs in
Midland (MI, USA) or Houston (TX, USA) at a frequency to be agreed
upon by the employee and their leader.About youAs a Service
Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of Dow's
Business Intelligence tools. This will include: Client
satisfactionRun the business IT processesService
improvementsGovernance of the environmentReintroducing internal
analytics communityAdditionally, as Service Manager, you will be
responsible for maximizing adoption and value of our business
intelligence capabilities. You will partner with the Business
Intelligence IT Leader to manage the work and costs of the teams
and vendors involved in service design, transition, and operations.
The specific services that you, as Service Manager on the Diamond
Systems Business Intelligence team, will be responsible for include
SAP BW/HANA, Power BI, an internal report catalog, and Run the
Business / Support. You would participate in our self-service
analytics strategy development and then be responsible for
enabling, driving, and supporting it. Also, you can complete each
of the following tasks:Fulfill Service Manager role and
responsibilities for IT. Manage the service, balancing customer
requirements with affordability, corporate and business strategy,
industry trends and available technology. Manage portfolio of key
solutions and monitors service-level quality for those key
solutionsMaintain service offering descriptions and material to
support adoption and drives adoption with stakeholders and targeted
client audiences. Partner with IT Leader to set priorities for
service specialist teamResponsible to ensure service quality,
timeliness of deliverables, responsiveness to client requests, and
accuracy of status and metric information. Responsible to follow
ITIL framework to deliver value for users of the service---.
Accountable to ensure SLA's, OLA's, or KPI's measurements are in
place and are acted upon when outside of normal expectations.
Responsible to advocate, educate and ensure your Service team
members follow any IT practice policies including but not limited
to: Evaluating/managing IT information risks with Information
Security to ensure Dow's safety and security; Drives Event,
Incident and Problem Management efforts for the affected services;
Maintains service configuration, asset, and knowledge management;
management of Service Levels. Required qualifications: A minimum of
a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a
U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking.A
minimum of 5 years of relevant work experienceA minimum requirement
for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the
United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this

card) process.Your preferred qualifications include:A degree
discipline in Computer Science, Information Systems or another
technical related fieldStrong organizational, facilitative and
communication skillsExperience in the analytics space, or deep
service management expertise8 or more years of relevant
experienceExperience / knowledge in the following areas is
preferred: ITIL Framework, ITIL Service Management, ITIL Service
Operations, and/or ITIL ProcessesAdditional notes-No visa
