Dow is seeking innovative and driven individuals who are
interested in being considered for Solution Manager positions that
will become available throughout 2022! These roles will primarily
be located in Midland (MI, USA), Houston (TX, USA), or Shanghai
(China) with remote work flexibility (hybrid work schedules)

Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of solutions or
practice(s) which include systems (applications) and manages its
lifecycle - analysis, design, implementation/adoption,
optimization, and end-of-life retirement of digital solutions,
delivering advanced functional and business capabilities. Works
hand-in-hand with a multi-disciplinary IT expert team
(analysts/designers/developers/support) to deliver innovative
digital solutions. Orchestrates functional and technical
requirements analysis - with emphasis on experience,
simplification, automation, efficiency, reliability. Oversees the
development, optimization, implementation and adoption of solutions
leveraging best-in-class mobile, web, desktop, cloud technologies.
Identifies opportunities for innovating with digital capabilities
aiming to accelerate Dow's digital transformation. Job
Responsibilities / Duties: Fulfills service or practice manager
role and responsibilities for IT. Responsible to follow ITIL
framework to deliver value for users of the service.
------------Requirements Analysis - Explores, analyzes, maps
business and function requirements. Experience Mapping - Maps user
journeys, user experience (UX), user stories (user features) to
facilitate employee experience (EX) / customer experience (CX)
transformation. Accountable for solution lifecycle, including
functional / technical design - solution architecture, develop
value case for buy vs make decisions - integration of third-party
off-the-shelf software, develops / integrates / tests / builds
quality solutions, and retires services per agreed upon roadmap.
Support team in the ability to operate in both waterfall and agile
delivery approaches. Supports implementation and user adoption.
Support - Selects and defines supplier and team support models.
Accountable to ensure measurements of the defined SLA's, OLA's or
KPI's for your solution/practice are in place and are acted upon
when outside of normal expectations. End-to-End Integration -
Coordinates with other Managers for end-to-end process optimization
and integration. Roadmaps - Defines a solution(s) portfolio
improvement and innovation roadmap with proper sequencing and
prioritization of projects; Help assess resource, technology,
investment needed in delivering against the roadmap. Solution
Expertise - supports and foster a community of solution experts and
acts as a thought leader in his/her domain. Assist with workload
analysis for team to ensure proper resource alignment for capacity
planning. Assists with financial management by managing solution
lifecycle costs. Works with stakeholders to understand and enable
MA&D activities, as needed. Responsible to advocate, educate
and ensure your service team members follow any IT practice
policies including but not limited to: Evaluating/managing IT
information risks with Information Security to ensure Dow's safety
and security; Drives Event, Incident and Problem Management efforts
for the affected services; Maintains service configuration, asset,
and knowledge management; management of Service Levels. Required
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or a minimum 8 years of relevant
work experience or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank
or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher. A minimum of 5 years
relevant work experience.For U.S. Applicants: A minimum requirement
for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the
United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this
position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green
card) process.Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of
relative experience.A degree discipline in Computer Science,
Information Systems or other technical related field.Strong
organizational, facilitative and communication skills. Strong
