Specialty General Surgery Location Clare, Michigan Call responsibilities at local medical center (with options) Requirements Full-time, general surgeon - board certified/eligible. Reason for Recruitment Community need; replacement for physician who relocated. Practice Details This practice is part of a Physicians Group. Other Physicians in Practice Physician will be one of three general surgeons in Clare. Office Procedures All aspects of general surgery, basic "bread and butter" surgical procedures and scopes. Hospital Privileges At one medical center and the option for a second medical center Compensation Generous base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan. Eighty miles from Lansing, 16 miles from Mt. Pleasant and 35 miles from Midland. The communities offer small town life close to big city amenities. Nearby cultural facilities, including Midland's Center for the Arts and Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, and local social and recreational facilities offer a friendly quality of life-style. Three local colleges offer post-secondary education with three universities within commuting distance.
