Summary MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is seeking an NP/PA that has a passion to work in an inpatient setting with cardiology patients. This is a full time position working with our dynamic cardiology team consisting of a 8 physicians, 3 established APPs, and a full complement of cardiovascular service line specialties. The preference would be a provider with experience, but the team would be willing to consider a new grad. This position is 5 days per week with primary responsibilities in the inpatient setting, and a small percentage of time spent in the outpatient clinic following established patients and follow ups. This APP can expect to work M-F, daytime hour. Start and end hours are subject to flex depending on patient load. Inpatient responsibilities will focus on rounding and discharges within the hospital. The inpatient cardiology APP will rotate through a weekend and holiday rotation shared with all APPs in the cardiology service line, which will be approximately 1 in every 11 weekends. The weekend rotation is shared with cardiology, electrophysiology, and heart failure APPs. This APP will receive training to cover all areas during their weekend/holiday obligation.
