Summary This is a wonderful opportunity for a qualified nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join one of MyMichigan Health's most well-known service lines! Surgical Services at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is seeking a full-time NP/PA for an inpatient opportunity. Responsibilities include managing patient admissions and consults and boarding surgical cases for general surgery, trauma surgery (excluding Level I Trauma), and urology. Hospital-wide first call for all IP surgical services, to include general surgery, trauma (excluding ICU), orthopedics, urology, and colorectal surgery. This is a nighttime schedule, 12 hours per shift, 7 days on / 7 days off. There is no call requirement at this time. Holidays that fall within scheduled workdays are required. Qualified candidates will be a Graduate of accredited CRNP or PA program, valid/current CPR /ACLS certification. ATLS Certification must be completed by the end of orientation. One year of experience preferred. Ideal candidate experienced in chest tube placement, but training is available.
