Family Medicine Opportunity - MIDLAND, MI (Family Friendly, Safe, 4-Season outdoor Recreation) Mid Michigan Physicians Group is a multispecialty group with more than 22 specialties in nine communities, reaching almost a million people. Very busy practice with a 4 Provider Suite and possible expansion. Connected to Mid Michigan Medical Center - Clare.Seeking Family Medicine Physicians for Mid Michigan Physicians Group to work full-time in Midland, Michigan to provide primary care for patients including evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in the clinic. Internal Medicine Physicians also prescribe medication for sick patients, monitor the patients illness and recovery and read and interpret patient charts.The duties performed by a Family Medicine Physician also include interviewing new patients, preparing new patients for treatment, preparing an outline for patient treatment and management, and preparing and reviewing patient charts. Internal Medicine Physicians engage in follow-up activities with patients discharged from the hospital, including monitoring their recovery and any developments in their condition after discharge.Candidates must hold a valid degree in medicine, must have completed three years of medical residency in Family Medicine, must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Michigan, and be board eligible or certified. Foreign trained medical doctors must pass the Federal Licensing Examination (FLEX) or its equivalent, and demonstrate competence in oral and written English by successfully completing the English language proficiency exam given by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).Patient and Procedure MixAll aspects of internal medicine: the physical, emotional, and social health of adults, including health services ranging from preventive health care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.
