Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab -
Electrophysiology (EP) position requiring an active MI RN license
and advanced cardiac life support certifications. Responsibilities
- Work in the hospital Cath Lab specializing in electrophysiology
procedures - Care for catheterization and angiography patients -
Operate equipment such as cardiac output monitors, hemodynamic
monitors, pacemakers/ICDs, and intraaortic balloon pumps - Expected
to scrub in for procedures with physicians - Epic EMR is used and
experience is preferred - Schedule requests must be made before
consideration - Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not
be considered - Responsibilities include direct patient care,
equipment operation, scrubbing, and detailed recording of procedure
data - Navy blue scrubs are required - Maximum of 5 days of
requested time off will be considered - Local travelers may only
complete one travel assignment - References and recent skills
checklist must be provided for consideration Requirements - Active
Michigan RN license - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American
Heart Association - Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab or EP nursing
experience required - Experience with Epic EMR preferred Benefits -
