Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical / Oncology Location: Midland, MI Start Date: November 24, 2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (36-hour guarantee) Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend On-Call Requirements: No Call Setting: Medical-Surgical / Oncology Unit Position Overview HumanEdge is seeking a Travel RN with medical-surgical and oncology experience for a hospital in Midland, Michigan . The unit cares for patients with cancer diagnoses, medical step-down patients, and general medical overflow. The ideal RN has a strong understanding of oncology pathophysiology, can assess patient needs, and delivers evidence-based, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Skilled Care (30%) – Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing care per physician orders and accepted nursing standards. Direct Patient Care (30%) – Administer medications, treatments, respond to call lights and alarms, assist with transfers, and provide bedside care. Treatment Evaluation (20%) – Evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment plan and collaborate with the care team to update or revise care plans as necessary. Physician Orders (10%) – Accurately process and implement physician/provider orders. Medication & Order Follow-Up (10%) – Clarify medication changes and ensure all orders are accurately executed.
