CVOR RN Job Details – Midland, MI Location: Midland, MI 48640 (Michigan healthcare jobs) Assignment Type: Travel nursing job Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Start Date: December 8, 2025 End Date: March 9, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Hours per Week: 40 Shift: 10-hour days (6:00am–4:30pm or 6:30am–5:00pm); staggered shifts (11:00am–9:00pm or as caseload dictates) required at least every third week On-Call: 1 to 2 nights per week and alternating weekends Overtime: May be required based on department needs Estimated Weekly Salary: $2560–$2750 CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent CVOR RN experience (Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse) Open heart surgery experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Active Michigan RN license (Registered Nurse jobs in Michigan) BLS certification (AHA) required Current CVOR skills checklist (within 1 year) Two supervisory references from the last two years Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius from Midland, MI CVOR RN Responsibilities Assess surgical patient needs and develop individualized care plans Implement, evaluate, and adjust care plans during cardiovascular procedures with a focus on patient safety Supervise operating room activity, coordinate schedule changes, assemble equipment and supplies, and assist anesthesia as needed Monitor the sterile field and ensure adherence to clinical safety protocols Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, the OR team, supervisors, and ancillary departments Participate in staff development through preceptorship, in-services, and educational meetings Apply now to join our healthcare team in Midland, Michigan and take your CVOR nursing career to the next level!
