Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Grand Rapids, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,773 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Agency Staff Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Shift Hours per Shift: 40 hours Experience: 2 years of relevant experience License: Radiologic Technologist (R) Certifications: CRT-Reg Card Elect Specialist (RCES) CRT-Reg Card Inter Specialist (RCIS) CRT-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Technologist Program, Radiology Technologist Program, or Bachelor's in Health Science. Clinical experience in electrophysiology or invasive cardiology procedures. Description: Assess hemodynamics and perform cardiac calculations. Operate equipment and document procedures. Manage patient sites and provide education to patients and families. Prepare patients and ensure sterile technique during procedures. Process and save images and conduct electrical mapping. Be responsible for preparation of access sites and handling instruments during procedures. Maintain sterile fields and evaluate changing conditions during procedures. Device pocket closure responsibilities included. Take call to cover urgent or emergent procedures when necessary. Participate in ongoing process improvement activities and department-level education. Adhere to unit-based standard work. Prepare case tables with necessary equipment, sterile supplies, instruments, labels, and medications. Perform surgical counts for sponges, needles, and instruments. Create and maintain a sterile and safe environment. Communicate and collaborate with patients and healthcare team members for continuity of services. Monitor patients undergoing invasive and interventional procedures. Capture and record hemodynamic and physiological wave forms and perform calculations. Utilize advanced technologies such as IVUS, FFR, OCT, ICE, Shockwave, IABP, Impella, and Atherectomy techniques. Support cardiac, ablation, peripheral, laser lead extractions, and structural heart interventions. Circulate procedures as a second circulator and gather equipment. Obtain and result ACT and oximetry during procedures. Actively participate in safety initiatives and complete required competencies. Perform other duties as assigned.
