We serve individuals, couples, and families seeking care within a professional environment aligned with Christian values, compassion, and ethical clinical standards. Position Overview Eternal Hope Christian Counseling is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient psychotherapy services as an independent contractor (1099). This role is well suited for clinicians who value autonomy, flexibility, and independent clinical practice while working within a mission-driven Christian counseling agency. Contractors maintain control over their schedule, caseload, and clinical decision-making while receiving administrative and billing support from the practice. Scope of Services / Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychotherapy services within your licensed scope of practice Exercise independent clinical judgment in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Practice in alignment with the mission, values, and ethical standards of Eternal Hope Christian Counseling Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with applicable laws, ethical standards, payer requirements, and Practice documentation policies Maintain active licensure and professional liability insurance Comply with all applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards Qualifications Active Michigan license (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in good standing Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices Alignment with the mission and values of a Christian counseling practice Ability to operate independently as a professional contractor Strong clinical judgment and professional communication skills Practice Support The practice may provide: Client referrals Billing and administrative processing EHR and scheduling system access Marketing support Optional professional collaboration opportunities Provision of support does not alter independent contractor status.
