Key Responsibilities: Cover 24-hour in-house call shifts according to the specified schedule. Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population. Collaborate with a full hospital staff and support personnel using Cerner electronic health record system. Adapt to varying patient daily volumes with a focus on quality, safety, and compassionate care. Utilize professional judgment and uphold hospital policies during on-call periods. Required Skills: Valid medical license and board certification in OB/GYN. Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology practice. Ability to work autonomously during 24-hour shifts. Strong clinical and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities. Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working in hospital-based settings. Knowledge of Cerner electronic health record system. Experience managing high patient volumes and emergency cases. Bilingual abilities or additional language skills. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN practice experience. Prior locum or hospitalist experience is advantageous. Other Requirements: Must be able to work the specified 24-hour in-house call shifts. Compliance with all state and federal licensing requirements. No lodging arrangements through third-party booking sites; expenses are reimbursed as per policies. Malpractice insurance included in hourly rate. Certify adherence to McLaren’s travel and expense policies, with expenses covered within designated limits.
