We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This full-time opportunity begins on Mar 2, 2026, featuring Monday through Friday outpatient clinic shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with after-hours phone call coverage. The assignment involves outpatient clinic visits, after-hours phone call support for established patients, shared weekend call, and virtual inpatient rounding. Job Details Location: Michigan Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Hematologist/Oncologist Schedule: Full time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm outpatient clinic; after-hours phone call coverage 4:30pm-8:00am; weekend call/phone only (shared); virtual inpatient rounding on weekends Responsibilities and Duties Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations and follow-up care Manage patient cases without surgeries or procedures Cover after-hours phone call support for established patients Participate in shared weekend call and virtual inpatient rounding Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and patient management Additional Information Must be board certified or board eligible in both Hematology and Medical Oncology Active Michigan license required (IMLC considered) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
