Job Description:
Dow is seeking innovative and driven individuals who are
interested in being considered for Software Engineer positions that
will become available throughout 2022! These roles will primarily
be located in Midland, MI or Houston, TX with remote work
flexibility (hybrid work schedules) typically available.**This is

responsible for working as a scrum team member through design,
development, and implementation of innovative digital solutions
that meet business and functional stakeholder requirements, while
exploring and prototyping the latest technologies. You will be a
proponent and practitioner of Dow's Agile methodology and strategy.
In this role, you'll be developing complex applications, while
being a team player, to optimize business operations and improve
overall user experience. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with
a strong desire to deliver change and make an impact while
contributing to a cross-functional team. Your ability to creatively
collaborate and execute team goals will affect scalability and
directly contribute to Dow's missions and digital transformation.
Job Responsibilities / Duties:Work with Lead and Senior Developers
to define the scope and solution architecture of products.Work
closely with a wide variety of stakeholders to analyze and break
down requirements into a well-defined product backlog.Contribute to
the development of cloud-first Web/Mobile/ML/AI/IoT
solutions.Develop scalable solutions using tools, codes and
frameworks like ASP.NET, C#, AngularJS, HTML, JavaScript, Python
and other open stack frameworks.Design, implement, and deliver to
production complete end-to-end fully functional solutions.Help
shape and guide the adoption of cloud technologies that integrate
or interface with legacy systems.Revise, update, refactor and debug
code.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or a minimum 5 years
of relevant work experience or relevant military experience at a
U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher. A
minimum of 3 years of software solution development
experience.Modern software engineering skills, including experience
with object-oriented programming and material design
patterns.Recent experience designing and deploying in Microsoft's
Azure Environment.A minimum requirement for this U.S. based
position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No
visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including
for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card)
process.Preferred Qualifications:A degree discipline in Computer
Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other technical
related field.Proficient knowledge in front-end and/or back-end
development.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Agile software
development methodologies and work processes, especially Scrum or
SAFe.Participated in application development process from
requirements through implementation.Excellent Leadership &
Communication Skills.Design Thinking and Human Centered Design
experience.Familiarity with Azure DevOps and experience deploying
code, managing release pipelines, branching strategies, and secure
code.Experience with Common Azure Cloud Services: Azure App
Services, Active Directory, App Insights, SQL, Functions,
Containers, Data Factory, Azure ML, API Manager and more.Unit
