Field Contract AdministratorDescriptionThe Automotive Unit Field Contract Administrator (FCA) is a member of the Maintenance Team and is the primary connection between Operations, Site Contract Administration (CA), and Contractor personnel. Scope of Auto Unit facility support includes Glass Bonding, Brake Fluids, Plastic Bonding, and Quality Labs.The Field Contract Administrator is a full-time position with an expectation of 70-80% of their time spent in the field and is responsible in the following areas:

  • Ensure compliance with Site Contracting Strategy
  • Ensure on-site contractor compliance with all regulatory and DuPont safety requirements - -
  • Coach contractor and contractor leaders in EH&S expectations, standards, policies, culture, and norms
  • Collaborate with contractor safety representatives to solve EH&S issues and concerns
  • Participate to the extent necessary in unplanned event investigations and root cause analysis sessions
  • Support the site CA organization with the s39G standard/6 step CA process
  • Validate scope of work is appropriate.
  • Participate in job package preparation process
  • Review and provide input to contractor project safety plans and addendums
  • Provide feedback to construction manager and to contractor on safety plan accuracy and content.
  • Provide input to daily maintenance & turnaround plans
  • Conduct pre-job meetings as needed
  • Inspection of contractor's equipment
  • Acceptance of services or work completed
  • Monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule
  • Redirect unsafe behaviors observed in the field through coaching and mentoring of contractors
  • Capture field observations in e-tool(s) using the company or business processes
  • Participate in periodic data reviews and trending; review contractor audits and provide feedback to CA
  • Collaborate closely with owner's project team and Auto/Site EH&S
  • Audit Contractor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) / Task Risk Analyses (TRAs)
  • Verify receipt of service
  • Maintain accurate work records
  • Help CA resolve claims and issues
  • Monitor and document changes to contract in collaboration with CA
  • Audit contractors' safety program and performance
  • Provide input on post-job evaluation
  • Participate in DuPont MiOps Contract Administration Network
  • Participate in DuPont Automotive daily morning maintenance meetings
  • Coordinate emergency work as needed.
