DescriptionThe Michigan Operations team is looking for
top-caliber, technically capable Process Operators who are focused
on safety, embrace change, make informed decisions, possess

the following tasks:Operating process related equipment and plant
process control systems in a safe environmentally responsible
mannerOptimizing plant performance by monitoring process equipment
and conditions using information systems including; process levels,
temperatures, pressures and flow ratesCollecting and reporting
plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization,
quality, costs yields, environmental health and safety (EH&S),
production rates, etc.Performing field checks, adjusting control
systems and manually operated equipment based on process and lab
dataDetermining root causes of deviations in process. product or
equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause
AnalysisIdentifying opportunities for improvement and implements
Improvements when appropriateAnalyzing laboratory and sampling
results to maintain process and quality standards as well as
learning a variety of chemical processes and develop ideas to
improve themResponsible for performing process equipment
troubleshooting, routine equipment repairs, improvements and
preventative maintenancePerforming daily tasks efficiently using
the appropriate computer tools and softwareEnsuring operational
activities and process performance are aligned with plant and
business goalsCompleting individual duties with a high degree of
dedication to safety and environmental stewardshipOperates and
field checks process equipment (including fork trucks)With Dow

candidate to meet one of the following criteria:A minimum of 4
years of experience in a chemical operator/processing roleChemical
Process Fast Start certificate obtained from Delta
CollegeAssociate's degree in Chemical Process or Chemical
Technology4+ years military experience in a technical field (i.e.
mechanical, electronic or technology based training)Other Required
Qualifications Include:Willing and able to work all applicable
shifts on a rotating basis (including weekends) and work overtime
when neededSuccessfully complete a background check and pass a drug
screen if job offer is received and acceptedMust have a current,
valid US driver's licenseMust be 18 years old or olderMinimum of a
High School Diploma or GEDA minimum requirement for this U.S. based
position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No
