Overview:SSOE Group is looking for a mid-level to senior-level
Instrumentation & Controls Engineer who would like to be part of
the growing SSOE Team.SSOE is seeking a talented Instrumentation
Engineer with consulting design experience to join our Automation
and Controls Team.At SSOE our Senior Engineers fulfill project
leadership roles designing and delivering highly visible projects
for our very diverse Market base.This position will require close
coordination with our Project Mangers, our Clients, and the SSOE
I&C Discipline Project Team to meet Quality requirements,
Client expectations, and project schedules.Responsibilities:The
following duties are typical of the position but are not all
encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver
quality service on schedule and within budget in a team
environment.Lead efforts for development of Electrical and I&C
design packages.Assist in P&ID development.Develop MCC One
Lines and Electrical SchematicsDevelop and maintain instrument
indexCreate/Develop Instrumentation SpecificationsDevelop loop
diagrams and other instrument wiring drawingsDevelop and apply
instrument installation detailsDevelop control panel
designsInterface with client and SSOE team to coordinate design
activitiesChecking and technical assurance of drawings and
specificationsDevelop/Coordinate the Development of PLC and HMI
SoftwareQualifications:Bachelor Degree in Engineering, which
qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required.
Electrical Engineering preferred.PE, or PE-tracked preferred, plus
two (2) or more years of experience with SSOE as an Engineer 4 or
the same educational, certification, and registration requirements
as above with eight (8) or more years of related practical
experience with former employer(s).If not registered, five (5)
years at SSOE as an Engineer 4 or eleven (11) years of related
practical experience with former employer is required.Experience in
chemical or refinery design preferredMicroStation / AutoCAD
ExperiencePLC / HMI Programming. DCS Programming a PlusProficient
in Microsoft Applications.Strong communication skills.Salary Range:
$100,000-$130,000/year depending on location, education,
experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the
