an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Quality Specialist located
in Midland, MI. As the Logistics Quality Specialist (LQS), you are
responsible for managing service quality work processes and
expectations in the quality notification space for North America
Dow Logistics modes supporting all businesses. About YouThe LQS
will be responsible for ensuring thorough investigations from third
party logistics service providers as well as code determination for
consistency across businesses and modes. This role will facilitate
root cause investigations for high priority customer complaints and
assist in developing tools for performance analysis which will
support carrier reviews with third parties and internal partners.
Additionally, this role is responsible for Quality Notification
(QN) failure trending to identify and drive service improvement
initiatives for NA Logistics. The purpose of this role is to ensure
quality activities are executed in line with the established work
process and the functional requirements of the Integrated Supply
Chain Corrective Action Management Process (CAMP) process. This
role will be primarily focused on ITO logistics quality complaints
but could perform across modes. This role is engaged in and
accountable to the NAA Customer Care Center to deliver quality
investigations and preventative action plans within days to close
operational targets. This role interfaces with external vendors
including: carriers, third party logistics providers (3PLs), Dow
Businesses, Dow Functions, JV Affiliates, and Dow Business Services
customers. Relationship management responsibilities include:
customer relationship management, customer network and areas of
operation and strength, driving internal and external work process
compliance, and understanding business, functional, and external
customers communication methods to be successful. The Logistics
Quality Specialist will specialize in several areas including but
not limited to:Dow SAP transactions and CAMP (QN) ProcessesRoot
Cause Investigation Facilitator for P1/P2 investigationsRoot Cause
Analysis software, tools and methodologyDiamond Systems
ReportingExcel and Data AnalysisEA&T systems and
processesLogistics service requirements and performance management
activitiesLogistics Service StandardsRepresent quality in modal
team meetingsResponsible for providing trending data to modal
teamsReview and evaluate carrier and 3PL responses and resolve
conflicts in expectationsProvides weekly, monthly, or quarterly
metrics to measure trends for 3PLsCommunication focal point between
NA Dow Logistics and Business Quality ChampionsLead and participate
in continuous improvement projects related to NA Dow Logistics
QualityRequired Qualifications:A minimum of a bachelor's degree or
relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or
Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant. (Supply
Chain/Logistics or Business degree disciplines preferred.)A minimum
of 2 years of relevant experienceA minimum requirement for this
U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United
