innovate to achieve our goals. Position Summary Responsible to
select, source, and purchase all retail store equipment (i.e.
refrigeration cases, shelving, service prep equipment, backroom
equipment, shopping carts, etc.) for corporate and independent
retail customers. Minimum Requirements Degrees Bachelor's Degree
(Required) Business Administration Accounting, Finance or other
related field or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Job Experience Three years procurement experience;
experience in the Retail Grocery industry preferred.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties Analyze current equipment
offerings and costs and propose recommendations to current
offerings. Source, negotiate, issue agreements and purchase
products from suppliers. Execute department order processing, and
partner with accounting to align order processing with the
accounting process. Interpret Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings
for specific project equipment needs. Develop master equipment
documents for each project (i.e. schedule, cut sheet, etc.).
Responsible for coordinating all equipment deliveries and
installations. Develop equipment programs in order to increase
department sales, provide economic efficiencies to customers (i.e.
reduced energy consumption), and increase efficiency and
profitability of transactions. Create comprehensive quotations
and/or budget details required to assist retailer project planning.
Maintain understanding of issues relevant to the Company and our
business beyond this department. Use cross-functional knowledge to
expand the impact of equipment beyond traditional boundaries. Act
as a change agent, challenge status quo, and take ownership of new
initiatives to reduce operating expenses and be a catalyst for
manufacturers to alter their perception of doing business with the
company. Develop trustful relationships with company peers and
vendors. Coordinate equipment needs for food shows as needed.
Support e-procurement system; act as a liaison to promote and
expand the system to other departments. May travel to work annual
company expos or meet with specific customers, venders or store

Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and
interpersonal skills including a strong ability to present new

mathematical aptitude, financial acumen, problem solving, and
analytical skills. Working knowledge of products and services and
industry trends as well as buying systems (BICEPS Preferred) and
CAD. Ability to travel up to 25% to company locations and expos.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Access.
