Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years Interventional
Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. This opportunity involves performing specialized
interventional radiology procedures under the guidance of a
Radiologist to assist in diagnosing pathological conditions. The
role requires expertise in imaging techniques, patient preparation,
and equipment handling to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
Responsibilities include: Preparing patients by explaining
procedures and obtaining relevant medical history. Setting up and
administering contrast media, medications, and IV solutions.
Assisting the Radiologist with complex invasive diagnostic
procedures. Maintaining sterile equipment and ensuring adequate
supply levels. Operating imaging equipment manually to acquire
accurate diagnostic images. Performing all imaging procedures with
strict adherence to radiation protection and ALARA principles.
Managing image quality control and data entry in PACS and Radiology
Information Systems. Participating in quality assurance activities
and documenting all procedures thoroughly. Applying independent
judgment in selecting imaging techniques and patient positioning.
Assisting with the training of new staff and students as needed.
Demonstrating professionalism, communication skills, and teamwork
consistently. Qualifications/Desired Experience: Proven experience
in interventional radiology imaging. Knowledge of radiation safety
and patient protection protocols. Ability to operate and
troubleshoot imaging equipment. Strong attention to detail and
documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills. Location:This assignment is based in Novi, MI, a vibrant
